Mr. Waqar Ahmed Khan

Mr. Waqar Ahmad Khan is the Senior Partner of the Firm and is based in firm’s Lahore office. He
completed his LLB from University of Punjab in the year 2005 and since then has been handling
Civil, Revenue, Family, and Employment litigation. Before joining The Legal Xperts he remained
associated with one of the leading law firm Atif & Atif Law Associates for more than Ten years.
During his long association with Atif & Atif Law Associates, he worked with the head of law firm
Mr. Muhammad Atif Amin Advocate Supreme Court in number of landmark civil and revenue
cases. As senior Associate of Atif & Atif Law Associate he advised and assisted diverse clientele,
comprising of industrial groups in Pakistan, including Saigol Group of Industries, PEL, JK Group
of Industries, ATS Group of Companies, Baig Group of Companies, JAWA Group of Companies,
Flying Group of Companies, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust and other multi-nationals, public
and private sector bodies in auto mobile, banking, energy, and textile sectors mainly on issues
pertaining to Law of Contract, Property Laws, Commercial and Corporate Laws, Banking Laws,
and Constitutional law. Before joining Edward Marshall, he was working with ATS Group of
Industries, Gulistan Textile Mills, Saphire Textile Mills and Engineering Kenetics Limited as their
legal advisor and in this capacity, he was responsible for managing and supervising all the litigation
pending in different courts, regarding them. Furthermore, he used to render legal opinions to the
above-mentioned companies on both contentious and non contentious issues including but not
limited to secretarial matters, industrial disputes, regulatory affairs, and complex contractual
matters.
At present, he is an active member of the Firm’s litigation wing and appearing in many important
cases including some high-profile pro bono cases pending before the Honourable Lahore High
Court, Lahore.
